Profile

I'm an analytics and BI solutions professional with 14+ years of experience delivering and governing data platforms, reporting environments, and analytics applications inside large, regulated financial-services organisations. My path has run from C++ middleware at Amadeus, through embedded systems and cloud-migrated ML pipelines at BMW, into Sr. Data Engineer and now Solution Architect & Product Owner roles at Allianz — building the data platforms and dashboards that let large organisations see and act on their own business.

What ties the roles together is end-to-end ownership: I take a problem from requirements and architecture through delivery, quality governance, and continuous improvement, rather than handing off at the design stage. I coordinate cross-functional stakeholders — Underwriting, Sales, Claims, IT — and manage multi-vendor platform environments where the hard part is rarely the technology; it's getting the data model, the governance, and the organisation to agree.

Today that means leading the architectural migration of Allianz Commercial's enterprise Data Asset from Palantir Foundry to a native Azure Databricks platform, with data quality, lineage, and GDPR-compliant access control built in from the start — and the business steering dashboards that make the resulting data usable by leadership, not just queryable by engineers.
